But it's free so whatever.

The mpreg baby is a parasitic larvae or something. I guess that's all you need to know about this book.

Oh yeah, there's normal rape and also tentacle rape. So you can get your perv on I guess.

Edit: like seriously everyone in this book is raped multiple times, in fact rape is the most common sex scene. I haven't been keeping count but its probably a good 3 or 4 rape scenes to one sex scene.

E2, okay one thing that sort of pisses me off is that the Others or the Old Ones or whatever they are supposed to be are CLEARLY a rip-off of the Overmind in [b:Childhood's End|414999|Childhood's End|Arthur C. Clarke|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1320552628s/414999.jpg|209414], only Childhood's End is actually a really good novel about the end of humanity as we know it, and this is just trash. It's like the entire idea of the Overmind got filtered through a couple different TV shows and then on to the internet through various crappy internet stories until every tiny bit of creativity and horror and wonder had been sucked right out of it. The same could be said of every single aspect of this book, is it vaguely reminiscent of a bunch of much better works. There is not an ounce of creativity that has gone into this story. Good thing it was free, even so I still feel cheated.

What I'm saying is, go read Childhood's End. Your time will be better spent.
