Where has this series been all my life?
I really can't review this book seriously because I listened to the audiobook (ie I only half listened to it while doing other things), but it managed to pull me in despite a serious uphill struggle (ie the Internet and everything else distracting in my life). Alex McKnight is a recovering PI, asked for help (and pulled right back in) by his former nemesis, who wants him to look into the suicide of his old buddy's son. Of course since this is a mystery how much do you want to bet that it's a suicide? Eh? This is a really great book, with an awesome reader, and I can tell you right now that within the first ten minutes of listening to this I'd put the entire series on my wishlist in Audible.
