This would have been a decent book but there was FAR TOO MUCH TALKING. Like, all the time, constantly talking. I do like it when MCs communicate, but it is possible to communicate through means other than constant speech. It just got boring after awhile and I ended up skimming the GIANT PARAGRAPHS OF DIALOGUE to get to the more interesting stuff.
The few times the author did tone down the dialogue were pretty good, which is why this book is not a two, but the constant chatter just got grating after awhile.
